Sixteen/52 - Throwback to Easter
Linus. 2. Was the most gentle when it came to cascarones, is obviously left-handed, has the softest hair on his sweet little head.
Seventeen/52 - Weekend Getaway
Bigfoot. Almost 4. Has taken to wearing baseball hats, is a social butterfly who loves seeing his friends every chance he gets, when asking what's for dinner and I told him PB and Honey with veggie sticks (I'm sick :P) he asked, "What vegetable, mama? I want a vegetable, mama. mm..Broccoli?"
Linking up with Gina for Embrace the Ordinary and Aimee for Finding Beauty because, right now, this is all I have to embrace in the form of a post - my little ordinary and my bits of beautiful. I've had so many posts swirling in my head and heart but haven't found the time nor brain power to type them out. I'm praying for His Time and for now, praying I get over this sickness that hit me on Friday. Also praying that no one else gets this because it comes with a pretty yucky cough. We all know how tough a junky cough can be with the little people and with the daddy's too ;) so if you would join me in this prayer I'd be so grateful!
What beautiful photos! That first one with the confetti is especially eye-catching!
ReplyDeleteMy boys are just about the same ages and I'm finding that they are bickering less and less lately too! I love seeing their little heads together, conspiring and imagining.
Thank you! The confetti was so fun! and it's so beautiful about our boys isn't it! I find my youngest misses my oldest so. much! when he's away and gets the *most* excited when he returns. Full on running, yelling his name repeatedly, and hugging. It's the sweetest thing!
Deletebeautiful!
ReplyDeletepraying no one else gets sick :) get well soon <3
Thank you, Theresa! So for so good in the sick department! Thank you, Lord! I'm nearing 100% and no one else seemed to have caught it! Thank goodness! A miserable cough is never fun in littles.
DeleteI live my entire life with things I want to write about swirling in my brain! I so feel your pain. Your boys are darling! Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteRight, Colleen! I've always done so with a journal since I was young. I just couldn't wait to journal my life away. And then, since my husband encouraged me to start a blog, there's sort of a different process to it all that I wish I didn't let deter me! God's grace, His timing, and all is well. Hugs to you, Colleen!
DeleteI love love love these photos!!
ReplyDeleteAre you feeling better now? I hope so. We suffered the ick that came with a bad cough. Some of us still have a lingering cough from it!
Yay! Thanks, Gina! And YES! I am feeling better! Thank goodness! Somehow the rest of the house managed to avoid it so far. I'm so thankful! The cough was pretty miserable for me, can't imagine if the younger ones caught it!
