Thinking about // How insanely cold it is!!! I'm from South Texas and am now living in North Texas. In South Texas the joke is that we have two seasons: hot and hotter. Now that I'm in North Texas I've been experiencing tidbits of most all the seasons and it's been all kinds of wonderful and crazy!
We had some snow yesterday. I guess northerners would say that we had a dusting of snow. Right? Either way, this freaks me out greatly. I mean really, it has been so cold and all the craziness going on in the North is just scary! So many prayers for any and all of you experiencing this insane snow fall! And, God be with us this coming winter.
Winter is coming, and it's not messing around!
Looking forward // I'm looking forward to hosting Thanksgiving in our home with my parents, brother, and his girlfriend! All the baking, the turkey, the gravy, the green bean casserole, and all the fun, play, and thanksgiving.
Praying for // Everyone up north experiencing this crazy start to this season. Praying for all those needing healing. For mamas with new sweet babies (I'm looking at you Rosie and Mary!). Praying for family near and far. Praying for all dealing with back problems, past or present.
And, praying for God's Will be done in mine and your life and that we be able to joyfully embrace His Goodness for us.

Captured // A little bit of my heart. My mom had a work trip last week and I was able to capture these sweet photos filled with so much love and goodness.

your burlap garland pin has got me LOSt in pinterest - I'm plotting to make something like that for Thanksgiving that could then be changed to use for Christmas... It's days like these, when I get a headful of crafty ideas, that caring for my children is just so inconvenient ;)
ReplyDelete(love the sweet photos of your mom and the boys!)
Yes! I haven't made the burlap garland but plan to. I have one more round of burlap ribbon and hope it turns out fun! And Thanks! I love capturing these little moments when I actually think to pull out the camera!
DeleteThose affordable card ideas are great!
ReplyDeleteAren't they! Cassie over at Kent Heartstrings is amazing!
DeleteI love those photos!!! And, I bet you're the best Thanksgiving host ever!
ReplyDeleteActually I'm pretty flustered! I'm not good with whole birds and timing all. the. foods! It'll be good to have my mom here to help though, she's pretty fantastic with it all! And, thank you! A compliment from you on my photos is HUGE!
DeleteI love those pictures of your mom and boys. I would frame those beautiful candid shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jenny! I know, I need to get some frames and get to printing!!! Our home is lacking in this department so much since moving in!
DeleteI love that pompom garland. Have you tried it? I wonder if some of the kiddos could help me do that.
ReplyDeleteI did! Yesterday! The pompoms were easy enough to make and didn't take very long either. Only problem I ran into was stringing them. Some of them would get caught and then lose some strings along the way. I'm sure there's something to remedy this but I didn't look it up. I'm sure your kiddos could definitely make a pompom garland though!
DeleteOh goodness how precious :D This winter is coming strong for so many! Good reminder to have them in our prayers! We moved to South Florida this year -- this will be a unique and warm winter for us -- so feel free and visit ;) Enjoy your Thanksgiving!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the pins, especially the Christmas breakfast!
